The 92 year old singer had tested positive for Covid earlier this year
After she tested positive for Covid, Lata Mangeshkar was admitted in the hospital as she experienced breathing difficulty. Though her situation was not encouraging initially, she was showing signs of improvement, before her health deteriorated again. She has been shifted back into the ventilator and is undergoing aggressive therapy at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. “Lata Mangeshkar didi is in Breach Candy Hospital, in the ICU. She continues to be under aggressive therapy and is tolerating the procedures well at this moment,” Dr Samdani told reporters. Union Minister Piyush Goyal met her relatives and wished the 92 year old a speedy recovery. He said, “have conveyed PM Modi’s message to her family and wish that she will soon recover”.
