Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar who was admitted in hospital four weeks ago after being diagnosed with pneumonia was discharged yesterday. She returned home and thanked all her well wishers for their prayers on Twitter.
She was overwhelmed with the good wishes she had received from the time she was admitted in the hospital. The 90 year old singer spent 28 days in hospital after she was advised by the doctors to stay in the hospital till she recovers completely. She expressed her gratitude to the team of doctors who treated her at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. She referred to them as her “guardian angels”. She also thanked the nursing staff for their excellent service.
