Tejashwi Yadav, the younger son of RJD Chief Lalu Yadav got married yesterday. He is said to be the political heir of his father.
Pictures of the wedding were tweeted by Tejashwi’s sister Rohini Acharya who wished the couple a lifetime of happiness. Images showed Tejashwi and his bride Rachel Godinho participating in wedding rituals in the presence of their family members.
Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav was one of the guests. There were only about 50 guests and they were mainly family and close friends.The wedding was low-key as the groom wanted to avoid a large gathering due to the alert over increasing Omicron cases in the country.
Tejashwi is the youngest of nine siblings. He has seven sisters and one elder brother.
Tejashwi is 32 years old and is the leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly.
