Koodathayi case accused attempts suicide

The prime accused in the Koodathayi serial murder case attempted suicide and has been admitted to the Government Medical College Hospital in Kozhikode.

Jolly Joseph is said to have attempted suicide inside the district jail by biting her left wrist. She was taken to the hospital at 5.30 in the morning with a bleeding wrist. Minor surgery was performed. The jail authorities said that there were no sharp objects like a blade or metal pieces inside her cell. Jolly is the prime accused in the murder case where six persons have killed between 2002 and 2016 at Koodathayi a village in Kerala.
