Another Episode of Luxurious, Stylish and Trendy Showcase for Kids
India Kids Fashion Show has come a long way since its inception in 2012, it stands at a vantage point of kids fashion industry as a paragon paving the road to voguish trends year after year. This year we were pleased to present the avant garde fashion statement with our home bred label- ‘Laali’s’ collection at our new edition of Spring-Summer 2016 at Bengaluru that was held on 13th– 14th February 2016 at Royal Orchid Resort and Convention Centre, Bengaluru.
‘Laali’ takes flight for the first ever time on the ramp of IKFS. ‘Laali’ which is symbolic of color ‘Red’ is used for representing womanhood & traditionally a term used for ‘Girl’ in India. In support of the cause by our visionary Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi– ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padho Yojana’, the profits accruing from the showcase of Laali are released in support of the initiative. Designer Sharad Raghav officially launched the brand for IKFS, with his designer acumen, showcasing the collection of apparels all in red for girls designed exclusively for Laali, tailored to bring out the eternal beauty of each participant. In his words “I am delighted to be a part of IKFS and its flagship brand Laali which is unique in its idea and noble in its cause”.
The grand finale evening on the 14th February also witnessed designers showcasing their collection like BonOrganic who showcased a range of organic T-shirts for boys and girls, Gazal Mishra launched her kids brand ‘Renaissance’ through IKFS, her collection of kids wear was ethnic with a mix of vibrant colors. Designer Neha Celly from ‘Milkteeth’ showcased her eclectic and trendy casual-wear for both boys & girls, speaking about the showcase she said “I am super excited to be a part of the showcase and loved to see kids walk in my new collection which was designed keeping the vivaciousness of kids in mind”.
The showcase was attended by celebrities like Sana Maqbool, Bhavayta Sharma & Aaital Khosla and over 1,000 guests list that included people from corporate houses, media, guardian of the kids and exhibitors. The evening also witnessed prize distribution to the radio contest winner that was carried out by Radio Indigo in Bengaluru. The electrifying fashion cavalcade was a result of the efforts put in by the designers, young talent who were very enthusiastic for the event and the audience without whom the event could not be a success.
Speaking on the occasion Ms Priyanka Mahariya, Chairperson of IKFS, said “ We look forward to making IKFS an equal opportunity platform for all the kids across the country, we look forward to fresh talent each year who could be groomed in a manner that enriches their social skills, considered equally important today”.
