A musical video titled ” Don’t kill for fun” has been created by a bunch of kids from fifth grade of a Mumbai school to create awareness about animal rights. The ten year olds are spreading awareness about combatting poaching and trafficking of endangered species of birds and animals. They partnered with Chrome Pictures to produce and direct the video. They donned animal costumes and expressed themselves as animals in a rap battle. After these kids got the idea, they enrolled in acting classes where they learnt how to lip sync their lines and how to enact their respective characters.
The founder and director of Chrome Pictures, Aleya Sen was astounded to see the talent and empathy of the young kids. She even gave them a chance to take part in the technical aspects of filmmaking. Vandana Lulla, the Principal of Podar International School where the kids study said that she was very proud of her students and that these opportunities would turn them into responsible, caring citizens.
