Acclaimed Kannada actor Diganth had played a key role in senior filmmaker MS Raju’s 2008 romantic drama, Vaana. Now, after nearly 11 years, Diganth is all set to make his Tollywood comeback. Diganth, who is also known as a chocolate hero in Sandalwood, acts in selective scripts. He was recently seen in a parallel cinema, Katheyondu Shuruvagide. He will be next seen in Devarakonda starrer Hero.
Diganth recently got married to actress Aindrita Ray and had taken a brief break from movies. However, it is not Diganth’s first movie in Telugu. In fact, he had acted in the remake of Kannada blockbuster Mungaru Male as Vaana in Telugu.
Hero has a bike racing backdrop and Diganth himself is a bike racing enthusiast. Vijay too plays a professional biker in the movie and both Vijay and Diganth’s scenes will be quite thrilling. Noted production house Mythri Movie Makers will be bankrolling Hero and debutant Anand Annamalai will be directing the movie. Malavika Mohanan and Shalini Pandey will romance Vijay in the movie.
