Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is playing the lead role in Thalaivi, which is a biopic on former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actress J Jayalalithaa, directed by AL Vijay. While the film was planned for release earlier in June, it got pushed due to the COVID-19 situation. Now, the latest is that Kangana has begun her dance rehearsals for the film as the team is planning to resume shooting for the film with a song shoot, which will be choreographed by Brinda master.
Assistant choreographer Prashanna Babu shared a few pictures with Kangana during the dance rehearsals for Thalaivi.
Arvind Swami dons the role of Tamil Nadu politician and veteran actor MGR. The film, which will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, has been produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shaailesh R Singh. Kangana Ranaut has not only learned Tamil and Bharathanatyam for her role as J Jayalalithaa in Vijay’s Thalaivi but has also gained 20 kilos in total to play the former actress and CM of Tamil Nadu.
