In connection with the mishap on the sets of ‘Indian 2’ at EVP, actor Kamal was questioned by the City Crime Branch police at the Police Commissioner’s Office at Vepery for about 3 hours. The untoward incident took place on February 19th when a crane came crashing down and claimed three lives and injured 12 people. The police have already booked Lyca Productions headed by A.
Subaskaran under various sections of the Indian Penal Code for causing death and hurt due to negligence. Originally the case was registered by the Nazarethpet police station but was later transferred to the City Crime Branch and Deputy Commissioner G.Nagajothi was assigned to investigate the accident. Accordingly an investigation was held and Director Shankar and actor Kamal appeared for the inquiry.
