Actor Kamal Hassan who called himself a fan of Mamata Banerjee met the West Bengal Chief Minister during the inauguration of the 23rd Kolkata International Film Festival. The meeting between the actor and Mamata came three days after he declared that he was already in politics and his intentions to launch his own political party.
It is believed that he discussed his future plans with Mamata who has been opposing the BJP.The Film Festival was also graced by Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. Kamal said that he always liked Kolkata and its festivals and he promised to be back again.
