He will be contesting against the BJP and Congress during the assembly polls
Makkal Needhi Maiam founder and superstar Kamal Haasan will be contesting in the Assembly elections this year for the very first time. He will be taking on the BJP’s Vanathi Srinivasan and Congress’s Mayura S Jayakumar from South Coimbatore. While speaking to reporters , he said, “Politics is not my profession like others. Politics is my duty, with honesty.”
Meanwhile Suhasini Maniratnam took to her social media page to congratulate him and wish him all the best. She wrote, “Wishing the very first Hasan the best as he files nomination in Coimbatore.” Khushbu Sundar who recently joined the BJP also wished him nothing but the best.
