The Tamil remake of Vikas Bahl’s critically-acclaimed Queen is struggling to take off, with the project facing one setback after another. Originally planned with Tamannaah Bhatia in the titular role of Rani, played by Kangana Ranaut, the project was to be helmed by filmmaker Revathy. Just when things looked positive and the makers heaved a sigh of relief, Tamannaah opted to walk out of the project after she claimed it was shelved. Meanwhile, reports have surfaced that Kajal Aggarwal, who is currently on a career high with films such as Vivegam and Vijay 61, has been signed on as Tamannaah’s replacement in the project which is slated to go on the floors very soon.
