‘Jumanji’ adapted into a Play by Taher Ali Baig

Jumanji the Robin Williams movie was a ground breaking film of its time. It has managed to become a nostalgic memory of excitement, novelty and fun to an entire generation. Now it has been adapted into a play. A children’s play none the less. Under the director Taher Ali Baig, the play presented by Gymboree will recapture the original film’s awe. Although theatre has in the past adapted cinema to stage, it is very rare to see an adaptation of a visual effects based film, and rarer still to find it done so well.
