In a push towards gender equality, manufacturers of Johnnie Walker whisky have come out with a female version named Jane Walker. This is aimed at drawing more women to the world’s best selling scotch.
It will have a striding woman on the label instead of the top hatted man.The vice president of Johnnie Walker, Stephanie Jacoby said that the move is to widen the appeal of the product while celebrating women. The Jane Walker collection is the latest part of the brands, “Keep walking America” which began in 2016.The brand has outpaced many competitors growing at 18% last year.
