Former Chief Minister Jayalalitha was remembered on her second death anniversary by her party members. Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O Paneerselvam led the AIADMK members and paid a tribute to the departed leader.
They took a pledge that they would secure a grand victory in the forthcoming bypolls to the Assembly elections and in next year’s Lok Sabha polls and would dedicate it to the late leader. Clad in black shirts, the party members led a silent March from Anna Salai to Marina Beach. There were emotional moments as the leaders paid floral tributes to their “Amma”.
