The 2017 Indian Premier League auction witnessed some record buys and some new entrants into the Crorepati club. Out of over 350 players called into the auction, only a total of 66 players were purchased by the franchises. Out of the 66, there were 22 players who became crorepatis. Ben Stokes was the highest plaid player with 14.5 crores . Follwoing him there was Tymal Mills , Kagiso Rabada,Trent Boult, Mohammad Siraj, Varun Aaron.
