Kiran Rao hosted a preview of an Indo Parisian label ‘Peachoo’, featuring Indian silhouettes with an international edge at Amethyst, Chennai on July 1st, 2016. A few looks from the collection were showcased by Chennai’s select ladies and styled by Shabri Roberson, a personal stylist and fashion consultant, based in Chennai. Trained at the London College of Fashion, she works closely with her clients to carefully craft the right looks for their lifestyle. She specialises in bridal, special occasion and everyday styling. The event will also feature a specially curated collection of “Everyday Jewels” and accessories from Amethyst.
The exhibition will be on from July 2nd – 10th 2016 between 11am – 7:30pm at Amethyst, entrance next to Corporation Bank, Whites Road, Royapettah, Chennai.
The collection comprises of elegant evening wear including crop tops, blouses, sarees, kurtas, dresses, tunics, pants and more, that define understated glamour. Embellished with sequins and hand embroidery, in a subtle monochromatic colour palette of blacks, whites, ecru and champagne, this label is designed for a modern woman who has a strong style of her own. The collection is built with separates that can be combined with infinite possibilities so each woman can create a highly individualistic look for herself. The prices range from Rs.4,050/- to Rs.43,400/-.
