Anurag Maloo, an Indian climber from Kishangarh in Rajasthan who went missing while descending from Mount Annapurna in Nepal last week and fell into a deep crevasse on the mountain has been traced by resuers and is said to be alive.
According to his brother Sudhir, he is in a critical condition and has been taken to the hospital.
It has been reported that Anurag set out to climb Mount Annapurna last week and fell down from an altitude of 6,000 metres while descending on April 17. Mount Annapurna is the 10th highest mountain in the world.
His aim was to climb all 14 peaks above 8,000 metres and the seven highest points in all seven continents to create awareness and drive action towards achieving the UN Global goals.
