Natasha Peri, a 11 year old Indian-American girl has been adjudged as one of the brightest students in the world by a US University for her exceptional performance in the SAT-Scholastic Assessment Test and the ACT-American College Testing.
These 2 tests are standardised tests that many colleges deploy to decide whether to accept a student for admission. These scores are used by companies to award merit based scholarships.

Natasha is a student of Thelma L Sandmeier Elementary School in New Jersey. She has been honoured for exceptional performance in the SAT and ACT. She was one of the 19,000 students from 84 countries who joined the John Hopkins Centre for Talented Youth. She took the tests in the Spring of 2021 when she was in Grade 5. Her results in the verbal and quantitative sections were equal to that of an advanced Grade 8 performance. She therefore made it to the John Hopkins CTY ”High Honours Awards”.
Natasha is thrilled about it and said that the award is a great motivation for her and added that her doodling and reading the novels of JRR Tolkien may have helped her.
