“I can THEREFORE I am” a unique event, proposed for the first time in India exclusively for high school students, is a brain child of a mother – daughter duo (Ekta & Ashna Surana) exploring the various avenues in career choices available for todays’ youth. Inspiration is best served when we hear real life success stories, stories of their struggles, challenges and how they managed to triumph over all their fears. It is very easy to talk about success, but behind every success is a story of passion, undying persistence and faith in self that bought them this far. Bringing this very idea to light, we started capturing short stories, that would inspire the youth. Till date, we have had the privilege to meet

and record their thought provoking journeys. As we add more to the list, we also came across many young achievers who choose to walk the same path at an early age. Their stories are a perfect source of self-belief and falls perfect to the saying “The right time to start is NOW”. The need to bring them on a common platform where they could share their journey with their friends is the core of this event. Motivation happens immediate if the success story comes from their peers. Keeping this fact in mind, we plan to have a talk show of such young achievers of different age group on the 21st of Nov 2015 at the Chinmaya Heritage Centre, award them for their achievement. We look forward for your support to make it a grand success.

These speakers will be shortlisted and selected by our expert core committee who will also mentor them in preparing their talk and presentation on the final day.
The event is planned for 100 mins with an audience of 1000 participants. This year we have the privilege of hosting a group of 21 delegates from Cosn. U S A, who will also preside over the talk show. CoSN (the Consortium for School Networking) is the premier professional association for district technology leaders in USA. For over two decades, CoSN has provided leaders with the management, community building, and advocacy tools they need to succeed.
This will be the perfect set up for the kids to experience a global perspective which will open new avenues, help them recognize their own strength and carved a path out of their curiosity.
