U.S. researchers have found that all women with breast cancer can skip chemotherapy after their tumours have been removed. A research presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology studied the treatment of early breast cancer with hormone therapy.
The study found that many women over 50 about 85 % of them could skip chemotherapy and women who were 50 and younger who scored between zero and 15 could be spared of the toxic effects of chemotherapy.
