Kids enjoy a ‘SPOOKTACULAR’ time at Phoenix Marketcity’s spine chilling Halloween Celebrations!
Halloween is not Halloween without little spooky monsters, creepy crawlies, eerie corners and fierce Jack-o-lanterns… So, to bring out the spirit of this uncanny festival, Phoenix MarketCity Chennai hosted a truly unique party reign in the festive and fun spirit of Halloween, into the city.
Recognizing the need to ensure that the children have a good time on one of the most enjoyable festivals, the mall arranged a host of exciting activities for kids between the age 4 to 14 years. A specially created area in the mall was adorned with carefully thought out décor that perfectly brought out the creepy spirit of the festival.
The afternoon commenced on a jubilant note when the kids were briefed about the array of fun filled activities specially organized for them. From engagements such as to make their own pot paintings with their favourite spooky character, cupcakes decorated with eye masks, lanterns, origami, kerchief painting, paper mache, tattoo painting and much more; the kids were completely immersed themselves into the activities. To initiate group bonding among the kids, thrilling props like tails, skeleton, monster cats, witch hats, bow ties were offered to bring out a ghostly feel!Visibly excited, the group began to cheer and hoot at the thought of the exciting evening to be!
The party gave the ideal opportunity for all the kids to come together to show off their creative, distinctive and well thought out avatars for the evening. The exhaustive line up of events certainly kept the kids thoroughly engaged!
Kids were seen dressed in bright and baroque outfit from the most common Halloween costumes such as witches, vampires and zombies to Harry Potter, Iron man and Cindrella. The children were taken around for ‘Trick or Treat’across 5 toy stores namely Hamleys, Starmark, Lego Store, One Friday and Tommy kids; with the task to check and thereby unravel their names from the ‘treasure chests’ present in each of the stores. Other customers watched with wide grins as the colorful soiree of costume clad children merrily yelled ‘Trick or treat!’ waving exuberantly at the onlookers and their parents!
The parents were also involved in one of the games wherein they were provided tissue rolls and they had to create a Mummy on the kids and the best Mummy was awarded. The parents were very glad at their decision to bring their little ones for the Halloween party, after seeing the extravagant, kid friendly events scheduled for the evening. Not to forget, there was a Halloween theme based photo booth to capture the kooky Halloween moments forever which caught the eye of all the kids!
