Nikhil Gowda, son of former Karnataka Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy and grandson of former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda is getting married today to Revathi, the grand niece of senior Karnataka Congress leader M.Krishnappa. The couple had a grand engagement on February 10.
Due to the current scenario, the wedding will be a low key affair and will comply with all the norms of the COVID-19 lockdown. As the date was fixed earlier, they didn’t want to postpone the wedding. It will be a private event and will be attended only by family members of both sides. It will be held at the Gowda’s farmhouse in Ramanagara about 50 kms from Bengaluru. About 75 guests will be attending. All of them will have to wear masks and will be screened by a team of doctors at special decontamination booths. Sanitizers and masks will be used at the location.
