Google is reported to have paid women employees more than male employees for the same role last year. This is totally a reverse stance when compared to other companies. In its Annual Pay E quity Analysis, Google revealed that it paid men less in 2018 for level 4 software engineer role. Men were flagged for adjustments as they received less discretionary funds than women.
It included 91% of googlers in analysis for the last year which has been the highest percentage uptodate. The company provided 9. 7 million dollars in adjustments to a total of 10,677 googlers. At a time when women have been subject to a lot of harassment at the workplace and are not being paid on par with men it is it is good to see Google reversing roles and paying women more.
