S.Nandhini, a 17 year old class XII student from Dindigul district in Tamil Nadu achieved a rare feat by scoring centum in all 6 subjects. She topped the higher secondary examinations in the state. Results were declared by the Directorate of Government Examinations on Monday.
Nandhini is the daughter of carpenter S.Saravanakumar and homemaker S.Banupriya. She studied in Annamalaiar Mills Girls Higher Secondary School, a government-aided school in Dindigul district. She scored centum in Tamil, English, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy and Computer Application with an overall total of 600 marks. She plans to study BCom and chartered accountancy.
Nandhini has been receiving congratulatory messages and media attention since the results were declared yesterday. There was a celebration at her home in Nagal Nagar along with her family and teachers.
