Supermodel Gigi Hadid and singer Zayn Malik have broken up according to foreign media reports but they will continue to co-parent their 13 month old daughter Khai Hadid Malik.
Sources said that the couple are not together but are being good parents to Khai. Zayn is said to have had some misunderstanding with Gigi’s mother Yolanda and that caused the split. Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik started dating in 2015 and have been in an on-and-off relationship since then.
Yolanda is said to be very protective of her daughter Gigi and wants the best for both her daughter and granddaughter Gigi is also focussed on the best for her daughter and seeks privacy during this period.
It is stated that their breakup came shortly after TMZ published allegations that Gigi’s mom Yolanda claimed that Zayn struck her. However, Zayn vehemently denied the allegation. He pleaded no contest to charges of harassment filed against him. He was fined for the incident and is on probation for 360 days.
