Adhila Nasarin and Fathima Noora, a gay couple who were reunited by the High Court of Kerala have exchanged rings. They shared pictures of their seaside function on Instagram and captioned it ”Achievement unlocked: Together Forever.”
They were dressed in wedding attire and wore jewellery and garlands. The couple also cut a cake to mark the occasion. They met in Saudi Arabia when they were students and decided to live together but their families objected to this relationship.
They filed a petition in court and lived in a shelter home. However, they were forcibly separated by relatives who tracked them down. It was the Kerala High Court which granted them relief by ruling in their favour.
