Indian Christmas shoppers have been looking overseas for the best deals and prices on foreign brands this season. It has been found that Indian consumers crave for foreign brands especially from the US. The US has shipped 93 percent of it’s shipments to India this shopping season and the rest are from the UK.
Popular fashion brands like Ralph Lauren, GAP and Michael Kors were the brands that were most sought after. The age of most Indian shoppers was between 25- 34 years. Men and women’ s clothing took the first place followed by baby products, luxury, beauty, toys and games. Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai did most of the shipments during this season followed by Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Gurgaon and Pune.
