In a first if its kind, a virtual summit, World Digital Awards, announced its first edition awardees in India. Ratan Tata, Anand Mahindra, Mukesh Ambani and Narayana Murthy were conferred with Lifetime Achievement Awards.
Besides these awards, Special Recognition Awards were given to people for immense contribution to their respective fields. Some of the Special Recognition Awardees are Bollywood actor, Sonu Sood for his positive social impact during the pandemic period, Dr. Jawahar Surisetti, an eminent psychologist for the education of the disadvantaged, Debjani Ghosh, President of NASSCOM for promoting technology and Ritesh Agrawal, OYO, for entrepreneurial excellence.
