As part of Covid relief works, FICCI FLO Chennai under the aegis of Chairperson, Jeyasree Ravi has donated 1000 oximeters to Greater Chennai Corporation. This was handed over to Gagandeep Singh Bedi, Chennai’s Corporation Commissioner, for use by health care worker teams for vigilance in slum areas to check the spread of Covid. This was made possible by donations from FICCI and FLO members organized by national Vice President Sudha Shivkumar, Past Chairperson Deepali Goyal, and Past Chairperson FICCI TN Kavita Dutt.
FLO Chennai is the women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). It is an all-India forum for women, with its headquarters in New Delhi, and 18 chapters covering different geographical regions of India. The organization’s vision is to promote economic empowerment and equal opportunity for women. Headed by Jeyasree Ravi, founder of Palam Silks, Flo Chennai has been actively involved in covid relief care.
