FICCI FLO Chennai in association with Shuttles & Needles in Adyar celebrated National Handloom Day. Shuttles & Needles studio provides experience and support for everyone to enjoy the meditative & joyful aspects of textile crafts like hand weaving, hand spinning & felting.
The on-ground event was held with 10 members from the association along with speaker Naresh Ramasubramanian, CSE of Shuttles & Needles. Naresh, a textile technocrat, and Kalyani Pramod, NID designer and textile artist, held a workshop that provided hands-on experience for the members to experience spinning, weaving, and felting by themselves.
Anyone with an interest in arts & crafts enjoys working with hands, experimenting with colours & textures, curious minds, people who love mathematical patterns, bitten by creativity bugs, knitters, crocheters, designers, artists & slow fashion enthusiasts found something interesting at Shuttles & Needles.
