Filling that gap between casual and wedding, Ravina’s boutique on Ulsoor Road stocks festive wear, be it tunics and kurtas for special occasions, while her newest baby at The Collonnade, The Leela Palace on old Airport Road is a treasure trove for bridal trousseau and festive wear that you will cherish all your life. A swanky, chic and classy boutique, it is for those brides, bridesmaids and their families who have a taste for the finer things in life and you’re sure to make heads turn, be it a festival, taash party, mehendi, sangeet, shaadi, shagun or reception.
SIGNATURE STYLES: Signature Styles at Ravina, Leela are my bridal lehengas, shararas and brocade skirts. It is occasion wear and unique bridal wear.
BIGGEST COMPLIMENT: My biggest compliment is that many of the brides and their family members come back to pick up or order more outfits repeatedly and are always happy wearing them.
LATEST FESTIVE TRENDS: The latest festive trends are Lucknawi Chikan and Gota work. A lot of shararas and lehengas are in vogue again with beautiful intricate work. A lot of muqaish is also trending this festive season, besides sequins. And of course, beautiful thread embroidery is something that always looks great on Indian wear for festivals and special occasions. Brocade skirts are a must have too.
FESTIVE COLOURS: Colours in vogue are pastels like pista green. Old rose pink lilac…going into hues of wine, crimsons, reds and also yellows. I use deeper shades for my velvet outfits as they always look stunning.
