A group of farmers broke through the barricades to join the wrestlers protest over sexual harassment charges against the national wrestling federation chief. Visuals showed how farmers crossed and removed barricades put up by the police near the protest site of the wrestlers.

The top wrestlers of the country like Vinesh Phogat, Bajrung Punia and Sakshi Malik have been protesting at Jantar Mantar for over a fortnight. They have been demanding the arrest of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, BJP MLA and president of Wrestling Federation of India.
Brij Bhushan has been accused of sexual harassment by seven wrestlers including a minor.  The police have registered two cases against him including one under the POCSO Act.
Several farmers organisations have announced support to the wrestlers in their ongoing protest.
