Actors and actresses are considered to be Gods and Goddesses for some fans down south. Actress Nidhhi Agerwal acted in two movies that were released on Pongal. One was Bhoomi starring Jayam Ravi and the other was Eeswaran featuring Simbu in the lead role. Just these two films got her such a huge fan following that her fans have built a temple in Chennai and dedicated it to her. However, the exact location of the temple is not known.
Nidhhi got to hear of this from social media. Several pictures from the unveiling ceremony of the temple have gone viral on social media. Her fans have installed a bust size statue of Nidhhi in the temple and performed a special puja on Valentine’s Day. Her fans said it was their Valentine’s Day gift to her. She was shocked and did not expect something like this but nevertheless. thanked all her fans for their love.
Nidhhi will next be seen in a film starring Udhayanidhi Stalin which is being directed by Magizh Thirumeni. She will also be doing a film in Telugu with Pawan Kalyan shortly.
Some stars who had temples built for them in the past include MGR, Khusbhu, Namitha and Hansika.
