Chennai, 30 January 2019: With Obstacle Course Racing gaining popularity among the residents of Chennai, Express Avenue, the premium destination shopping mall showcased for the first time to experience the “Obstacle course” along with Olympic level Sailor Rohini Rau and VJ Gibran. This fitness-oriented initiative by the Express Avenue Mall in collaboration with Wild Warriors was held recently in the Central Atrium of the mall. Wild Warrior an adventure-racing brand that organizes obstacle course races, triathlons, and trail run, have organized three large mass participation obstacle race events in 2018 in Chennai, Bengaluru, and Coimbatore, and is now coming out with the unique “Killermeter” concept in February 2019.
In the build-up to the “Killermeter”, Wild Warrior organized an exclusive Obstacle experience in partnership with Express Avenue Mall, which saw well-known participants such as Olympic level Sailor Rohini Rau, VJ Ramya, VJ Gibran and fitness enthusiasts who took part in the OCR to sample some of their unique obstacles first-hand before taking the plunge at the longer course. Wild Warrior has proved to be the ultimate combination of fitness and adventure and a tremendous boost to this space in Chennai.
Fitness enthusiasts seemed to be excited and exhilarated by witnessing such an activity going on inside the mall. Customers who took part in the event exclaimed that it was a fun experience alongside with physical benefits. Spectators mentioned that such activities will not only improve physical health but mental health as well, as it needs coordination & quick reflexes.
