Film Maker Subhash Ghai accepted the honour on behalf of Sridevi Boney Kapoor
Sridevi was honoured at the prestigious Cannes film festival 2018 hosted by Titan Reginald F Lewis Film honours. Film maker Subhash Ghai accepted the award on behalf of Boney Kapoor, Janhvi and Khushi. Boney Kapoor had said, “I’m happy that people from the world over are recognising her body of work and her contribution to cinema. Even though the overwhelming emptiness of losing her remains, it’s comforting to know that she lives on through her work.”
