KGR in association with ACE Events organised a grand musical tribute to Mellisai Mannar M S Viswanathan “Engeyum Epothum – A Musical Tribute to MSV”. This was held at Vani Mahal, Chennai, Legendary actresses Ms. Saroja Devi and Ms. Jamuna commenced the programme by lighting the traditional Kuthu Vilakku in the presence of Chief Guest Mrs P.Susheela. L R Easwari, Shri. Sirgazhi Siva Chidambaram, Veteran actress Ms. Sachhu and many more.
Actor Chinni Jayanth before singing “Naan Oru Kuzhandai Nee Oru Kuzhandai” said, MSV as a musician had a reputation of making actors too sing. Reciting a poem dedicated to MSV, he said legendary composers like him would continue to live in the hearts of the fans forever. He also mentioned that he had the blessing of performing in front of MSV himself.
