Hemp fabric is made using fibers from the stalks of the Cannabis sativa plant species that are grown specifically for industrial uses of its derived products. It was one of the fastest plants to be spun into usable fiber fifty thousand years ago.
Hemp has inherent antimicrobial properties, protects from UV rays and is mold resistant.It is not only breathable it is super soft and gets softer with every wash.
Sustainable & biodegradable hemp is known to be the strongest natural fiber in the world, with three times longer durability. It is eco friendly, as it needs less water to grow and it regenerates the soil.
This collection is in hemp combined with eco printed and hand dyed silk.
Tightly rolled bundles of marigold petals are steamed to create yellow and olive prints. Techniques of tie and dye are done on pure mulberry silk and hand-dyed using madder root and sappanwood.
