Dulquer Salmaan took to his social media page to say that he tested positive, he mentioned that he had only mild symptoms but he reminded his fans that the pandemic is still not over and that we need to stay vigilant. He wrote, “I have tested positive. I am isolating at home and have mild flu symptoms but am otherwise ok. People who were in close contact with me during shoot over last few days, please isolate and test if you notice symptoms. This pandemic is not over and we must stay vigilant. Mask up and stay safe. ”
Just a few days ago, his father Mammootty had also tested positive for Covid. Dulquer’s last release ‘Kurup’ which was also produced by him under the banner of Wayfarer films was a blockbuster hit, gathering over 75 crores at the box office. Fans are awaiting the release of his next film with Rosshan Andrews, titled ‘Salute’ in which he dons the role of a police officer. The film has been written by Bobby and Sanjay. His Tamil release ‘Hey Sinamika’ will be releasing in February 2022. A sneak peek of the songs from the movie have already raised the excitement levels among fans.
