The studio has now set its base in the central part of the city, a structure of 500 sqft, easily accessible in Chennai. In today’s runaround world, Dot studio has created its niche to customized wear and soon entering its feet on the pret line. Innovation and consistency are keys factors of the studio, where it designs affordable designer wear from “ruffled crop top to a draped silhouette gown.”
The new collection 2021 ‘ Raang’ is based on the mood n colors of life, where it broadened its perspective to look at fashion to be more wearable from a varied range of crop tops, mid-length dresses, Indo-western silhouette s and Indian day wear too.. we have played around with fabrics like shiffon, modal silk, organza s and embroideries being more quirky and trendy.
Pooja Tatia, the brainchild behind Dot studio has always been with a motto of looking at its best and she created her ikigai with this brand 16 years ago, believes it or not, like cravings for food she has it for clothes and has passionately turned it into a profession to make everyone look beautiful!
Her USP is creating sustainable fashion and fashion more wearable. She has participated in more than 50 plus events and pop up edit with her collection. She specializes in customised wear on Indian wear like blouses, lehengas, and designer sarees and has a wide range of western and Indo-western wear from crop tops, mid-length dresses, Indo-western jackets, silhouette drape skirts. She says she has her ikigai in place withholding in gratitude of 1500 clients and many more in the kitty.
