In less than 24 hours after testing positive for coronavirus, US President Donald Trump was flown to hospital. According to officials from the White House, the decision to shift him to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center was just taken out of abundant caution. Trump had fever and exhibited mild symptoms of the virus but was in good spirits.
He wore a suit and mask and walked out of the White House lawns to board the helicopter for his trip to the hospital. He gave a thumbs up sign but didn’t speak a word to reporters gathered there. He was taken to the hospital’s Presidential suite for treatment. He later posted a video on Twitter thanking everybody for their tremendous support. His children Ivanka and Eric retweeted his post. There are only 32 days left for the US Presidential election and the election campaign operations will be disrupted due to Trump’s illness.
