Malayalam flick Premam hit the screens in 2015 received a massive response from the cinema audience. The romantic drama directed by Alphonse Puthuren, featured Nivin Pauly, Sai Pallavi, Madonna Sebastian, and Anupama Parameswaran in pivotal roles. Interestingly, it has now been revealed that Asin was initially considered for the role of Malar, played by Sai Pallavi.
In a recent interaction with fans on his social networking page, director Alphonse Puthren has revealed that he wanted to cast Asin for the role as Malar teacher, but couldn’t contact her. He said that both he and Nivin Pauly tried to reach out to Asin, but they couldn’t get in touch with her.
