Football legend Diego Maradona passed away due to a heart attack at the age of 60. He underwent an emergency operation for a subdural hematoma due to accumulation of blood between a membrane and his brain.
He was born on October 30, 1960 and made his football debut in the country’s top tier in 1976 just 10 days after his 16th birthday. He went on to become the greatest footballer of all times and he helped Argentina win the World Cup in 1986 during the peak of his illustrious career. He was adored by millions of fans all over the world. After his retirement, he developed heart problems due to cocaine addiction.
