Dhanush, who is in Chennai after wrapping up the shooting of his Bollywood romantic film Atrangi Re, celebrated New Year with his family after five years. Since January 1 is his wife and filmmaker Aishwarya R Dhanush’s birthday, it was a double delight for them on New Year Eve.
Geethanjali Selvaraghavan, wife of director Selvaraghavan and Dhanush’s sister in law had shared the photos on her social media page. While Aishwarya can be seen cutting a cake, one cannot neglect the beautifully decorated Xmas tree with loads of gifts around. Dhanush had organized the get-together and one can see a band playing in the background. The party also saw the presence of GV Prakash, Varalaxmi among other select guests.
Geethanjali posed a picture with Dhanush and Selvaraghavan and wrote, “With my favorite pair of brothers.”
In a picture with Dhanush, she captioned, “Finally reunited with @dhanushkraja ! First new years eve in 5 years!!!!”
She also wished Aishwarya and posted, “Happy birthday my sweet sweet sister!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Earlier, Aishwarya posted a picture, in which she was seen hugging a Xmas tree. She wrote, “What a year it has been !…. made us stronger mentally, emotionally ..got families closer, friendships more valued and bonds stronger..made us realise nothing is more important than health and peace of mind and grateful for many things…back home finally n embracing all the strands n streams of positivity light and happiness around to bring in a better new year which treats us all with nothing but kindness and well-being. #lastdayoftheyear #homesweethome.”
