A delivery man from an ecommerce firm sustained multiple injuries after he fell from the third floor of a building in Hyderabad when he tried to escape from a customer’s dog.
The delivery person went to an apartment at Manikonda on Sunday to deliver a mattress. A dog which was at the customer’s door that was kept partly open, started barking at him. In order to avoid being attacked by the dog, he climbed a railing but slipped and fell on the ground. He sustained multiple injuries and was admitted to a hospital by the customer. His condition is said to be out of danger.
A case has been registered under section 289 of the IPC against the dog owner for negligent conduct with respect to the animal. A police official at the Raidurgam police station said that investigations are going on.
