The Delhi Congress staged a silent protest at the Jantar Mantar to protest against the ethnic clashes in Manipur and also the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi from the Lok Sabha.
Many leaders and workers of the Congress party gathered for the ”Maun Satyagraha Dharna”.held on Sunday, the 23rd of July. Anil Chaudhary, the Delhi Congress President said that the Congress Party was trying to highlight the problems that the common man is facing.
Rahul Gandhi was disqualified from the Lok Sabha on March 24 after the Surat court convicted him in the 2019 defamation case pertaining to the Modi surname.They also slammed the ruling BJP for attacks on the Constitution, issues of unemployment and inflation and said that the government should respond to these issues.
