Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that the current pandemic will be under control by Diwali and also expressed hope that we would have a vaccine by the end of this year. There are currently 7 to 8 vaccine candidates. Out of this 3 are in the clinical trial stage and the rest in the preclinical trial stage.
He declared that the country was much ahead in tackling the pandemic. Inaugurating the Nation first webinar series organised by the Ananth Kumar Foundation, he said that there has to be a new normal and the pandemic has taught us a lesson that we should be more cautious and more diligent about our lifestyle.Juliana
