Controversies for being in limelight

Poonam Pandey has revealed that controversies were staged to be in limelight. She says that movies were always on her mind, but after coming to the industry she realised that getting work needed the backing of a godparent and since she knew none in the film fraternity, she started raking up controversies to garner publicity.

Poonam had her first brush with the limelight in 2011 when she had stated that if India won the Cricket World Cup that year, she would strip. When the national team did indeed win the World Cup, Poonam went undercover.
