Collage launches Designer Jayanti Reddy’s new collection inspired by Benares City which celebrates the modern Indian Bride for this festive season. This collection designed by Hyderabad based Designer Jayanti Reddy is structured and yet fluid, with silhouettes are inspired by the place of unwavering faith and the heart of Hinduism that lends its name to the warp and weft perfected and practiced by generations of Muslims weavers.
Benares, much like the Indian bride, refuses to be defined. It is both old and new, traditional and challenging, ancient yet relevant. This collection is inspired by this glorious, complexity and through its Benarasi weaves, we celebrate the modern Indian bride. It also features whimsical embroidery, breathable fabric with ruffles on a cape, sudden striking tinge of gold embroidery amidst the monochromes to complement the modern Indian woman’s inner glow, and a hint of sheen in the fabric that’s a natural extension of herself.
When: Ongoing till 31st of October
