After tasting success in the Indian television market Chinese consumer electronics company, TCL is all set to strengthen its presence in consumer durable space. The brand is all set to launch intelligent home appliances like air-conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators in India. The company will also roll out sound bars and UHD Android TV in the Indian market.
Country manager Mike Chen had states that Indian is home to a growing number of tech-savvy and digital users that demand more from the existing products and bands. Driven to make life intelligent through TCL’s product ranges, they plan on launching a range of innovative and affordable home appliances for their Indian consumers.
In 2018. TCL had inaugurated its panel factory in Tirupati, marking the brand’s first manufacturing unit outside of China. The first overseas integrated industry park in India will not only allow TCL to provide Indian-centric products at competitive prices but also create over 8,000 jobs, fuelling up the economic development of Tirupati region.
